(Original poem : last stanza of Kortirion among the Trees, JRR Tolkien, 1937)
Words used : palaces, isles, terraces, miles, rings, Kings, content, elms, realms, lament, dwell, spell
I’ll leave behind the palaces
To follow the wind to the isles
And climb over the terraces
Flying over miles and miles
Before the bell flower rings
The sounds that puts an end to even Kings.
And then I’ll rest, content.
I’ll whisper songs through the elms
So those who lament
Can near forest come to dwell
And find there a happy spell.
